Steven Harper and the Praise Ministry was founded in 2000 with a small group of individuals coming together to pursue the purpose God had in mind for us. Since then, we have grown and diminished in number, but our zeal for the spread of the Gospel through music has only grown stronger. We seek daily to be a ministry whose lives are totally pleasing to God, so that we may offer up perfect praise unto Him, as he desires nothing less. Our greatest desire is to please Him in the way we walk, as we are his expression in the earth realm. We just really want God to be happy with the ministry that He has given to us. We give all glory and honor to Him, Jesus Christ!

I am married to the most wonderful woman of God, Malana Harper, and I have a great family! Mother,Barbara, sister, LaQuanda, and brother, Brian.I have a huge extended family too and trust me, they're all wonderful! I serve as the Minister of Music at Southeside Baptist Church , Jackson. I have a wonderful musical staff. And my pastor, bro. Jeffrey Parker, is one of the most humble men of God in the world. I count myself priviledged to be under such a great. The main thing you really need to know about me is that I truly love God. I want everybody to be saved and have the right to "kick it" in heaven when its all said and done.
